Tackling the challenges of sustainability in the hospitality industry
The hospitality industry has a significant impact on sustainability, contributing 8% of global greenhouse gas emissions. Hotels alone consume vast resources, using 346,000 gallons of water and generating 1,000 tons of waste daily. Sustainable practices like energy efficiency, waste reduction, and resource conservation are vital to addressing these challenges.
With the hospitality sector contributing 5% of GDP in the EU and 3.5% in the US, it has a unique opportunity to engage billions of customers annually by demonstrating a commitment to a sustainable future.
Our team brings extensive expertise in the food, beverage, and hospitality sectors, offering services such as emissions calculations (FLAG), net-zero strategies, carbon footprint analysis, SBTi submissions, risk assessments, double materiality assessments, and more.
