Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ESG and sustainability strategy development aligned to best practice standards and frameworks such as CSRD, GRI and SASB, alongside experience in conducting double materiality assessments, strategic analysis, embedding strategies and consulting, This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to innovative projects that drive meaningful change.
Key Responsibilities:
- ESG and Sustainability strategy consulting: Support in the development of ESG and sustainability strategies aligned with relevant standards (CSRD, GRI, TCFD, SASB). Identify
- Double materiality assessments: Identify and analyse impacts on the environment and society from a business’s value chain and risks and opportunities which could affect business performance. Support alignment with regulatory frameworks like CSRD to address financial and non-financial material impacts.
- Strategic research: Conduct in-depth research to inform strategies, identifying key industry trends, market opportunities, and risks and opportunities. Analyse data to support decision-making and provide insights that guide strategic planning
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to gather data, insights, and feedback necessary for project success.
- Research and Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging sustainability practices to inform consulting approaches and client strategies.
- Project Management: Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and client communication to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Experience in sustainability consulting or a related field.
- 1 year minimum experience in sustainability strategy development and/or conducting double materiality assessments aligned with the EU CSRD
- Strong experience in data analysis and writing concise reports, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with various standards and frameworks such as GRI, SASB and, EU CSRD.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, working on multiple projects simultaneously.
